The School of American Music presents a Three Oaks Barn Concert:
Gershwin, an intimate concert in an special setting
Sunday, October 23th, 4:00 p.m. EDT
Internationally acclaimed pianist Rob Auler will give a solo performance of Rhapsody in Blue, and other gems from the Gershwin songbook. The concert will be performed on a vintage 1928 Baldwin grand piano restored for this occasion.
Hosted by Lynn and Allen Turner, the event will be held at Spring Creek Farm, a 300-acre working farm and wildlife preserve in Three Oaks. Their 1860s Greek Revival home, once a stagecoach stop, was built from trees harvested on the property.
The afternoon includes food, beverages, and an optional post-concert home tour. Only a limited number of places are available. All proceeds go to the School of American Music’s Future Fund, providing music education to underserved communities. Tickets and donations are tax deductible; proceeds are matched 100% by an anonymous donor. For more information, contact the School of American Music at firstname.lastname@example.org or 269-409-1191.
