Join the School of American Music and a band of many players for the Harbor Country Singers holiday sing-along on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022. The concert will begin at 3 PM EST at Episcopal Church of the Mediator, 14280 Red Arrow Hwy, Harbert, Mich. The sing-along is free, but a donation for Neighbor to Neighbor of canned goods or a food item such as nutrient-rich peanut butter is requested.
“Sounds of the Season” will feature the Singers accompanied by multiple instruments, ranging from piano to guitar, dulcimer, trumpet, French horn, trombone, and tuba. The program will span holiday favorites from Hanukkah to Christmas, secular to sacred, with the lineup including favorites such as “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bells,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” and “White Christmas.” Songbooks with music and lyrics will be provided.“There will be music for everyone to enjoy,” says Donna M. Mitchell, School of American Music Executive Director. “We are grateful to Episcopal Church of the Mediator for partnering with us to present this fun community event.”
